Does the world exist before or because of us ?

Does the world exist for us because the world is just how we see it, therefore it cannot exist without us, in so to speak we are not but mere cogs in the system , but the mechinism that keeps it going, the works revolves around you, or is it that everything in nature wndin his world exists and we must find it, remeber it, is everything ore existing and we must find it ? Do these colaborate ? Contradict ?
