Problem when opening MS Office 97 desktop shortcuts?

Are you running any of the Office programs that are listed in the warnings? To find out, click on CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up Windows Task Manager. Click on the Applications tab to see what's running. If there are instances of Office running that you don't want to have running, highlight the application, and click on "End Now". Then try again with your shortcuts. Good luck.
