Need some advice. Can you please help?

I have a 2002 Kia Rio with 61,000 miles. I love this car and it has been well maintained, but my family is insistent I sell my car and take over my brother's loan on his 2004 Honda Civic, which has over 100,000 miles on it but has also been well maintained. I hate this car and don't want it, but my family thinks my car is going to fall apart tomorrow and I need this Honda because it is better. Are Honda's better than Kia's? Are there any websites I can check out with more info on these cars? Should I do this, or should I keep my car and, with proper maintenance, be able to keep my car at least another 3 years?
