Leaving my bike outside in the rain?

Anything that's not aluminum will rust, but maybe not fast enough to worry about it. Cover your saddle with a plastic bag, lube your chain more often, wax your bike regularly, and watch your brake and shift cables. If the cables rust, replace them with stainless steel ones.
