What is the difference betwen presbyterian and baptist church?

There are a couple of different types of Presbyterian churches -- PCUSA and PCA, PCA being the more conservative of the two. Among Baptists though, many, many denominations exist, ranging from an Arminian to five point Calvinist theology. However, the most prominent difference lies in the observance of the sacraments -- or ordinances, as Baptists like to call them. The Presbyterian churches see these as signs and seals of a covenant of grace, whereas Baptists see these as symbols only -- a remembrance for communion, and an outward profession of an inward commitment for baptism. Also, Baptists immerse, and provide the rite only to those above the age of accountability; whereas Presbyterians will sprinkle, pour, or in rare occasions immerse as facilities allow, for infants as well as adults.
