Apartments around Boston / Cambridge?

Hi, I'm looking for an apartment around the boston / cambridge area. something thats not too far from the highway or from Waltham (30mins max). I'm looking for something thats high quality but not a rip off. I've seen archstone northpoint but they're charging around 3000+ for a 1 bedroom lol. im looking for around 2000-2500 for a one bedroom. ive seen thirdsquare but I heard they dont rent to undergrads. 50 station landing in medford is amazing but a bit too far. id love some help, thanks
