Are there many virgins out there?

My partner and I are waiting for marriage ourselves and I've been having a bad day because of all this talk about kids having too early, girls experiencing low self esteem, molestaition, & people becoming more concerned with dating than finding and exploring themselves as people. That and I've witnessed a few friends last month lose their virginity to the wrong guy then get dumped shortly after wards. I just don't get why people don't want an improved rating system over Commercial content? Worst of all why are there so many people that don't realize there is a problem? Its so depressing, and I feel so hopeless. I am not saying you have to be a virgin to share the same feelings but virginity seems like a rarity.
