I give up! I think we are going to have to Elope and give up the dream of a wedding.?

So we planned on having a small wedding in California (approx 30 people) and wanted it very simple. Our budget is $5000.00. I thought ok, I will be frugal and we will be able to do this. Out door wedding and a simple indoor buffet or something. I can do this right WRONG! We looked from far Northern CA to Monterey area, Sonoma all kinds of areas. I can't seem to find a site fee under 1500.00 plus all kinds of crazy hidden fees. I need some encouraging words or advice or something!
