A serious question. No rude answers please!?

I recently lost my best friend in a car accident. Almost everyday we would drive down to this river, and park and smoke bud. We'd stay down there for hours and just get high, and fish and stuff. Well now that he's gone it's really hard for me to go down there. But it seems like when I do, I randomly get really strong whiffs of weed. Like some bombb skunk weed. I'll just be sitting there and out of no where it will hit me. Do you think it's his presence? Or is it all in my head?
